South Austin Food Co-op is creating a community-owned, worker-run grocery store that promotes social justice and self-reliant communities. The food co-op will offer healthy and organic foods with an emphasis on locally produced groceries. We will educate people on sustainable practices by being a model. We will build a bikeable, walkable, and bus accessible store in a South Austin neighborhood. We will start it locally and grow it globally. |
